What does Chained Beasts cost?

On 2026-10-16, the Steam store page showed:

Featherweight’s Steam announcement “Chained Beasts - Launch Price Reveal” (2026-10-07) says the 35% discount runs for two weeks after launch. Sale timing can vary by region and platform storefront—check the store page for the current price and exact end time before you checkout.

Game Pass subscribers on Xbox or Windows PC can access the game through subscription without a separate purchase on those channels.

Is the demo still available?

Official posts state the Carthage demo will be taken offline when the full game launches on October 15. We treat that as Featherweight’s plan; we did not independently verify whether every downloaded demo copy still opens after launch. The launch-day post “Chained Beasts is available NOW” repeats that full-game buyers get content beyond the demo slice.

What languages and ratings are listed?

Steam lists 12 interface languages, with full English voice acting marked on the store page. Content descriptors note visible blood sprays that remain in the environment. Steam’s Germany rating field on the store page shows 16—that is a generated Steam field, not a standalone USK certificate statement.

How busy was Steam on launch week?

Demand signals are not pricing facts, but they help set expectations. These numbers move by the hour, so read them as a launch-week snapshot, not a current figure:

Metacritic had no score yet on October 15 because critic counts had not met their threshold.

What is coming after 1.0?

Featherweight’s public roadmap (December 1.1 content, Q1 2027 PVP, and more skills/afflictions) lives on the dedicated roadmap and Update 1.1 page. This release page stays focused on launch facts.

Will my PC run it?

Minimum specs for Windows and macOS are on the system requirements guide, copied from the same Steam store page as this page.
